Bilateral Club Feet

Charlotte was born with a condition known as bilateral club feet. What this means is that both her feet are turned inwards. Club foot can be caused by a number of things, but since it is bilateral, it is most likely genetic. It is not due to any other outside factors, like lack of space in utero, alcohol, or medications. That was a relief!

In order to correct her feet, Charlotte has to wear a series of casts, then have a surgery to lengthen her Achilles tendon. She will most likely live a normal life, with normal feet!
